Hydroxyapatite and brushite coatings on plasma electrolytic oxidized Ti6Al4V alloys obtained by the thermal substrate deposition method

摘要: Abstract Hydroxyapatite (HA) and brushite (DCPD) coatings were prepared on plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO)-treated Ti6Al4V substrates using thermal substrate deposition (TSD) technology. For the of calcium phosphate (CaP) different phase compositions, temperature-dependent solubility phenomenon orthophosphates at a fixed solution pH was used. DCPD calcium-deficient HA (Ca/P = 1.64) obtained temperatures 85 °C 140 °C, respectively. 30 min deposition, 300 μm thick coating consisting both needle- plate-shaped crystals 4 μm 50 μm with needle-like 7 μm obtained. Porous morphologies characteristic coatings.
