Effects of CuO on the morphology and conducting properties of PANI nanofibers

摘要: Abstract Direct evidence of the control size and morphology polyaniline (PANI) nanofibers along with high conducting properties is reported by systematically varying loadings CuO in range from 0.005 to 0.1 g during synthesis process. The freshly prepared PANI-CuO composites were investigated means Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), ultraviolet-visible (UV–vis), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), energy dispersive X-ray (EDS) transmission (TEM). Both FTIR UV–vis measurements revealed possible incorporation PANI maximum interaction occurs for 0.01 g loading. mean diameter determined TEM measurement showed that lowest diameter, 14 nm was obtain loading (0.005 g CuO). FESEM analysis addition 1.00 g, always produced regular uniform surface without secondary growth agglomeration primary nanofibers. In terms morphology, best quality obtained CuO. Conductivity increasing trend conductivity value lower 0.01 g). However, higher (0.05–1.00 g), not consistent. consistent 0.270 S cm−1 observed
