Inherent ambiguities in gamma ray angular correlation experiments

摘要: Abstract Ambiguities in angular correlation experiments, when two spin and mixing ratio values give similar Legendre coefficients for the initial γ-ray, are determined classified according to difference of final states. The possibility resolving these inherent ambiguities by extra information available from subsequent γ-rays, γ-γ correlations linear polarisation is investigated. Many never resolved, but where they can be it shown that simpler experimental measurements either γ-rays or primary γ-ray most useful.
