The Socio-Economic Sustainability of Refugee Return: Insights from Burundi

摘要: This paper studies the socio-economic sustainability of refugee return in Burundi using household and community data collected from 1,500 households. Socio-economic is studied a wider view that not only compares households with non-return but also focuses on effects entire communities. Sustainability operationalised as multidimensional concept includes both objective subjective indicators. The results reveal perspective perspective, can be questioned.
