摘要: Background: Osteosarcoma is a relatively uncommon malignant neoplasm and little information has been reported on its cell proliferation using Ki-67. Objectives: Evaluate histological, clinical immunohis- tochemical parameters Ki-67 labeling index (LI), correlate one to another with follow-up. Material method: Fifty-seven patients available clinicopathological data submitted the study of as determined by expression measured immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining formalin-fixed paraffin embedded sections. In each sample, positive cells were quantified at least thousand nuclei expressed LI according median value. Results discussion: Non-significant correlations observed in metastatic non-metastatic cases when variables surgery, tumor size, death relapse compared values (cut-off 45%). group there was direct correlation between higher better overall survival. Metastatic survival curve high low did not show significant differences. Conclusion: Based our results could be useful prognostic marker without metastasis diagnosis.
