摘要: Even in the era of advanced assisted reproductive techniques, microsurgical reconstruction is an important and relevant treatment for obstructive azoospermia. Microsurgical provides couples opportunity to create a spontaneous pregnancy thereby avoiding expense, limitations, risks vitro fertilization (IVF)/intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). The apparent ease techniques should not overshadow fact that expense IVF/ICSI may be unjustifiable. Sperm retrieval relegates subjects fertile female partners offspring potentially avoidable risk. Approximately 30% cycles 2009 resulted twin or higher gestation these pregnancies are associated with rates prematurity, low birth weight, severe neonatal medical conditions [1]. Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome life-threatening complication moderate ovarian estimated occur 3–6% 0.1–2% IVF cycles, respectively [2]. Every surgeon will encounter whom best option paired IVF/ICSI. For amenable conditions, however safety natural conception remains compelling justification reconstruction.
