摘要: Abstract 1. (1) The effect of adding various chemicals to the isolated brain snail Helix aspersa is described. reactions were followed by measuring on resting potential and spontaneous action potentials nerve cells. 2. (2) All following effective at dilutions between 10−7 10−11 g/ml. sign indicates their overall acceleratory (+) or inhibitory (−) activity. Acetylcholine Glutamic acid (±) Adrenaline Histamine Cocarboxylase Nor-adrenaline Dimethyl-amino-ethanol 5-HT Dopamine Phenylalanine γ-Aminobutyric Thiamine hydrochloride 3. (3) phenylalanine caused a hyperpolarization potential. 4. (4) Phenylalanine, glutamic cocarboxylase could protect cell against high concentrations acetylcholine. 5. (5) It thought that most above may occur naturally in acetylcholine dopamine are likely transmitter substances. 6. (6) Most drugs had dual action; inhibiting some cells accelerating others. suggested there marked chemical heterogeneity CNS with reacting specifically but different given chemical.
