摘要: A set of three bacteriophages (phi K5, phi K20, and K95) was used to discriminate between Escherichia coli K5 K95 strains isolated from patients with urinary tract infections. All the tested were detected primarily by thought carry capsular antigen K5. Ten O2, 33 O6, 32 O18 proved be sensitive phages. Eleven 44 O75:H- strains, all 8 O75:H5 1 O17 strain, OR strain not lysed phage only without activity toward test strain. It has been suggested that K20-resistant K95. These findings confirmed countercurrent immunoelectrophoresis K-antigen extracts anti-K95 serum. preliminary data indicate usefulness these phages detect among isolates.
