摘要: Abstract We investigated the interaction of branched polyethyleneimine (PEI) with anionic vesicles formed 1,2-dioleoyl- sn -glycero-3-phospho- l -serine (DOPS) by spectroscopic measurements and microscopic observations. PEI induced fusion only over a specific concentration range, which was found to be below transition vesicular zeta-potential from negative positive value. Above window membrane fusion, charge inversion DOPS due further adsorption onto surface vesicle, inhibited events. The low molecular weight in wider range than high PEIs. Our results suggest that mechanism lipids depends on stoichiometry polycation negatively charged lipids.
