摘要: Despite being reported to reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases, little is known about acute direct effects bilberry anthocyanins on whole mammalian heart under ischemia–reperfusion (I–R) conditions. Bilberry were prepared from ripe bilberries and analyzed using HPLC–DAD. Their antioxidant activity was evaluated by measuring intrinsic free radical–scavenging capacity cellular assay (CAA) endothelial cells, where we quantified intracellular inhibit formation peroxyl radicals. Experiments isolated rat hearts I–R carried out according Langendorff method. Perfusion with low concentrations (0.01–1 mg/L) significantly attenuated extent injury as evidenced decreasing release rate LDH, increasing postischemic coronary flow, incidence duration reperfusion arrhythmias. High (5–50 diminished cardioprotection show cardiotoxic despite having their radical scavenging capabilities increased in a concentration-dependent manner. This study reveals biphasic bioactivity I–R, which results strong cardioprotective high concentrations.
