摘要: Hydrogen isotope ratio analysis is subject to interference from H/sub 3//sup +/, and the uncertainty in +/ correction generally limiting factor precision of hydrogen isotopic analyses. Mathematical modeling indicates that can be improved through use a double-comparison technique employing second reference gas. In order compare single- techniques, double-collector mass spectrometer was fitted with triple viscous leak inlet system. Four 2/ samples deuterium contents between -184 193% vs. standard mean ocean water were analyzed by both techniques. The single-comparison had about 1%. 0.04% when combined electrical correction. When no used measurements, varied as function degree mismatching major ion currents unknown gases frequently poor .05%.
