摘要: The isotopic loading dose and metabolic period for the measurement of energy expenditure in humans by doubly labeled water method were predicted a propagation error analysis. Factors considered sources analytical errors mass spectrometric determination enrichments, biological variation uncertainties total body (TBW), evaporative loss, fuel. optimal doses 0.3 g H2 18O/kg TBW 0.12 2H2O/kg all subjects except neonates which they 0.4 0.16 TBW. periods 3 to 14 days children, 5 28 adults. theoretical coefficient is between 4 8%.
