摘要: We report on experiments to measure the shock-induced growth of sinusoidal perturbations thick interfaces separating two gases different densities. The results show that rates are reduced as interface thickness is increased. A model accounts for rate reduction caused by presence a finite density gradient proposed and good agreement obtained with experimental results.
