摘要: Native natural killer (NK) cells comprise a heterogeneous family of lymphocytes distributed among several organs, which display spontaneous cytotoxic reactions directed against broad range tumor targets. In these studies, murine cell lines have been established in vitro following the selective expansion bone marrow-and spleen-derived progenitors culture medium supplemented with interleukin-2. Several clones independent origin characterized order to determine extent their phenotypic and functional diversity. With few exceptions most them were found be highly effective lysing variety lines, share common surface alloantigens, lectin-binding receptors, cytochemical markers. The presence prominent azurophilic cytoplasmic granules is characteristic ultrastructural feature cells. attempting elucidate nature membrane components specifically recognized by NK we compared isogenic variants selected on basis differential susceptibility, immunogenicity, metastatic potential or resistance plant lectins. Sialylated glycoconjugates exposed external face appear essential determinants interaction between Permanent retaining attributes endogenous may prove instrumental understanding role during progression.
