摘要: It has previously been shown that salicylate (S) acts as a vitamin K (vit K)-antagonist inducing decrease in plasma levels of vit K-dependent clotting factors and inhibiting the carboxylation reaction liver. In this study we evaluated whether biochemical effect had possible functional role. Indeed, tested rats antithrombotic potency S (175 mg/kg/i.p. twice day for 3 days) on experimentally induced venous thrombosis. Its haemorrhagic was by measuring bleeding time. Low-dose warfarin (W) (0.2, 0.1, 0.1 mg/kg/i.v. utilized control drug. To check potentiation between W, effects their combination (S + W). Thrombotest used to monitor anticoagulant each treatment. The incidence thrombus formation, after stasis, not significantly affected any treatments used, but significant reduction weight observed either or W Both drugs partially prolonged without affecting time peri-operative mortality (mainly due internal bleeding). When no benefit prevention weight, although marked prolongation recorded. On other hand resulted pronounced tendency, expressed increased total mortality. Thus S, at doses moderate anticoagulation may prevent thrombosis relevant complications.
