摘要: Abstract Microalgae have potential for eco-friendly chemicals, however, only a few of them been exploited. This study investigated four new microalgae on their growth and production fatty acids carotenoids grown photoautotrophically, heterotrophically, or mixotrophically using improved techniques to monitor glucose metabolism, carotenoid lipid formation. Depending trophic modes, the demonstrated different rates, ranging from 0.23 d−1 photoautotrophic Selenastraceae sp. B10 1.03 d−1 heterotrophic Pectinodesmus F13. Scenedesmus DHS gained highest biomass due its fastest consumption. Heterotrophic accumulated amounts lutein (7.49 mg g−1) lipids (63.15% DCW), while mixotrophic F13 achieved productivity (5.60 mg L−1 d−1). Photoautotrophic Chlorella Mg exhibited α-linolenic acid (37.19% total acids). Taken together, studied great as feedstock commercially attractive or/and lutein.
