摘要: The aim of the present study was to determine impact increased consumption phytosterols or phytostanols on blood pressure and renal regulatory gene expression in stroke-prone spontaneously hypertensive (SHRSP) normotensive Wistar-Kyoto (WKY) inbred rats. SHRSP WKY rats (10/group) were fed a control diet supplemented with (2.0 g/kg diet). After 5 weeks, demonstrated higher systolic diastolic pressures than that consumed phytosterol phytostanol supplemental diets displayed 2- 3-fold respective increase those diet. Angiotensinogen (Agt), angiotensin I-converting enzyme 1 (Ace1), nitric oxide synthase (Nos) 1, Nos3, cyclooxygenase 2 (Cox2) THUMP domain containing expressed at levels compared Renin II receptor type 1a lower Phytostanol supplementation up-regulated Ace1 Nos3 Phytosterol mRNA Nos1 spondin (Spon1) Cox2 elevated both phytosterol- phytostanol-supplemented Therefore, may be partly due altered genes. Specifically, up-regulation Ace1, Nos1, Spon1 associated observed
