摘要: Background and Purpose: The longitudinal invariance of the Center for Epidemiologic Studies-Depression (CES-D) scale among middle-aged older adults is unknown. This study examined factorial CES-D in a large cohort community-based longitudinally. Methods: 1,204 participants completed 20-item at 4 time points 1 year apart. Structural equation modeling was used to identify best fitting model using data baseline 1-, 2-, 3-year follow-up. Results: 4-factor showed partial over 3 years. Two 6 noninvariant items were consistently follow-up points. Conclusion: Special consideration should be given these 2 when healthy (45-75 years old). Keywords: depression; invariance; structural modeling; measurement; CES-DDeveloped by National Institute Mental Health Studies, Epidemiological one most commonly measures depressive symptoms especially studies involving adult populations (Edwards, 2010; Murphy, 2011). symptom measurement that requires report frequency feeling or occurrence each 20 past week. have been chosen reflect various components depression including feelings guilt worthlessness, depressed mood, helplessness hopelessness, psychomotor retardation, sleep disturbance, loss appetite (Radloff, 1977). Each item rated on 4-point 0 5 rarely none (less than day); some little (1-2 days); occasionally moderate amount (3-4 all (5-7 days). For 16 instrument, higher score represent more impairment, whereas remaining (Items 4, 8, 12, 16), scores are reversed, is, represents less impairment. These factors interpreted as affect (blues depressed, lonely, cry, sad), positive (good, hopeful, happy, enjoy), somatic/vegetative (bothered, appetite, effort, sleep, get going), interpersonal (unfriendly, dislike).
