摘要: This paper reviews CNS involvement secondary to malignant-mixed Mullerian tumor or uterine carcinosarcoma, a rare aggressive biphasic tumor. We report cerebellar metastasis with epithelial and mesenchymal components, demonstrating heterologous rhabdomyogenic chondroblastic differentiation. The patient had undergone total abdominal hysterectomy bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy for palliation of symptomatic chemotherapy-resistant node-positive disease. is rare, prognostically poor, suggestively poorer in predominantly sarcomatous metastases. Multimodal therapy indicated; solitary metastases, surgical resection stereotactic radiosurgery included, followed by whole brain radiotherapy. In unresectable radiotherapy warrant consideration up 2-3 multiple palliative steroid cranial irradiation may be considered. Combination platinum-based chemotherapy (i.e., ifosfamide-paclitaxel carboplatin-paclitaxel) indicated all stages, role both disease cure control-directed management. Targeted therapeutics have thus far not demonstrated significant clinical efficacy.
