摘要: Published sequence data of the human c-myc gene indicate presence a coding capacity for polypeptide 188 residues within first exon. Using antibodies raised against five synthetic peptides corresponding to different non-over-lapping parts this polypeptide, two proteins 32 kd and 58 antigenically related have been detected in extracts cells. The confidence detection has reinforced by showing that epitopes were indeed located on same molecule protein appears be dimeric form protein. That these originate from exon was indicated by: hybrid-arrested translation experiments followed immunodetection products; vitro messenger RNA derived cloned 1 SP6 polymerase transcription.
