摘要: Background: To complement available information on mortality in a population Standard Expected Years of Life Lost (SEYLL), an indicator premature mortality, is increasingly used to calculate the mortality-associated disease burden. SEYLL consider age at death and therefore allow more accurate view patterns as compared routinely measures (e.g. counts). This study provides comprehensive assessment injury for Hong Kong 2010. Methods: estimate SEYLL, life-expectancy birth was set according 2004 Global Burden Disease 82.5 80 years females males, respectively. Cause data 2010 were corrected misclassification cardiovascular cancer causes. In addition baseline estimates, scenario analyses performed using alternative assumptions (Hong standard life-expectancy), time-discounting age-weighting. trend time-series analysis from 2001 conducted. Results: 524,706.5 lost due with 58.3% attributable male deaths. The three overall leading single causes “trachea, bronchus lung cancers”, “ischaemic heart disease” “lower respiratory infections” together accounting about 29% SEYLL. Further, self-inflicted injuries (5.6%; ranked 5) liver (4.9%; 7) identified important not adequately captured by classical measures. Scenario highlighted that 3% time-discount rate non-uniform age-weights dropped 51.6%. Using Kong’s values resulted increase 10.8% Time-series indicates 6.4%. particular, group I (communicable, maternal, perinatal nutritional) conditions showed highest increases SEYLL-rates per 100,000 being 1.4 times higher than 2001.
