摘要: Abstract Spatial cross correlations and interannual month-to-month variations of monthly mean wind speed were studied at 40 sites throughout the United States. Sites selected on basis availability 10 or more years data from a fixed anemometer location height climatological 5 m s−1 (11 mph) higher. deviations climatic means found to be about 0.5 for separated less than 200 km, with annual correlated coefficient value 0.32 similarly sites. Applications using nearby “climatological” site adjust short-term “candidate” are examined several methods. The best results show only minimal improvement in estimating long-term over that obtained one year on-site data. These indicate that, candidate energy evaluation, must relied originally consi...
