摘要: This review attempts to describe developments in the fields of quasar and host galaxies past five years. In this time period, Sloan 2dF surveys have added several tens thousands quasars, with quasars being found z > 6. Obscured, or partially obscured begun be significant numbers. Black hole mass estimates for our confidence them, improved significantly, allowing a start on relating properties such as radio jet power fundamental parameters black accretion rate. Quasar galaxy studies allowed us find characterize 2. Despite these developments, many questions remain unresolved, particular origin close relationship between bulge mass/velocity dispersion seen local galaxies.
