摘要: Two recent patients in our behavioral series investigating the psychological effects of callosal section exhibit right hemisphere language. Using lateralized visual and auditory stimulation, semantic, phonetic, expressive linguistic functions were examined. While language systems both shown to be capable semantic information processing, they differed their abilities process phonetic information, follow verbal commands, produce responses. It is argued that differences between left are quantitative best characterized along a continuum generative capacity. variability such capacity appears responsible for function within split- brain population.
