摘要: A pseudo-emitter-coupled-logic (PECL) receiver has a wide common-mode range. Two current-mirror CMOS differential amplifiers are used. One amplifier n-channel transistors and p-channel current mirror, while the second an mirror. When input voltages approach power or ground, one type of transistor continues to operate even when other shuts off. The outputs two connected together each receives same signals. tail-current is self-biased using current-mirror's gate-bias. This self biasing eliminates need for additional voltage reference allows adjust its over input-voltage Thus range extended complementary amplifiers. comparators can be used receiving binary multi-level-transition (MLT) inputs by selecting different references threshold comparison. Using on both multi-level having three levels. MLT detected decoded decoder.
