摘要: Summary Splenectomy is an effective technique in living donor liver transplantation (LDLT) with small-for-size (SFS) grafts for overcoming SFS graft injury. However, the protective mechanism of splenectomy still unclear. The aim this study was to investigate how could attenuate injury through measurement biochemical factors, particularly expression endothelin (ET)-1, which a key molecule microcirculatory disorders by mediating sinusoidal vasoconstriction. We performed rat orthotopic using or without splenectomy. investigated intragraft ET-1 mRNA and hepatic protein levels ET-1. In addition, portal pressure, morphological changes, survival rate were evaluated. result, after significantly downregulated splenectomy, rarely observed. Splenectomy inhibited increase ameliorated improved transplantation. conclusion, decreased attenuating hypertension on Downregulation plays important roles
