摘要: Problems arising in the collection of data olfaction studies are discussed relation with specific nature perception and description odors. Olfactory depend strongly on individual physiological differences, measurement methods psychological factors. Classifications odors necessary to put some order odor descriptions which used structure-odor relationships. Published classifications have been based empirical, semi-empirical, or statistical approaches. In last category may be obtained using semantic descriptions, profiles, similarity estimations. Examples each kind classification presented discussed. The intensity most often threshold data. They also present a huge variability makes it difficult relate them physicochemical properties. Data thresholds attempts standardize
