摘要: To minimize the excessive vibration and prolong fatigue life of offshore wind turbine systems, it is value to control that induced within structure by implementing certain kinds dampers. In this paper, a ball absorber (BVA) experimentally investigated through series shake table tests on 1/13 scaled model. The reductions in top displacement, acceleration, bottom stress platform tower system subjected earthquakes equivalent wind-wave loads, respectively, with are examined. Cases rotating blades also validate efficacy damper mitigating an operating turbine. experimental results indicate dynamic performance tested model significantly improved compared uncontrolled terms peak response reduction.
