On the Elastic Constants and Structure of the Pure Inorganic Oxide Glasses

摘要: Experimental elastic moduli of the pure vitreous inorganic oxides SiO2, GeO2, P2O5, B2O3, and As2O3, are compared with simple theoretical models deformation involving use available estimates for anion-cation (first order) stretching force constants. On basis this comparison it is concluded that all these glasses essentially three-dimensionally-connected ring structures: average size, in each case, being similar to sizes found corresponding crystalline forms oxides. Les modules experimentals elastiques des oxydes inorganiques purs et vitreux, sont consideres par comparaison avec les modeles, simples theoriques, de la elastique, qui enveloppent evaluations dont on dispose pour constants, premier ordre forces d'elongation. Par suite cette comparaison, conclut que tous ces verres essentiellement en forme structures circulaire trois dimensions: dimension moyenne cercles est pareil aux dimensions qu'existent dans formes cristallines oxydes.
