摘要: Impurities can affect all stages of the crystallization process. Since they simultaneously influence kinetic and thermodynamic factors, induce, at least theoretically, conflicting effects on nucleation growth mechanisms. Kinetics are mostly slowed down by presence impurities only a few examples known where enhance rates. Adsorption occurs in kinks, steps or surfaces between steps. The impurity molecules either separated linked to each other two dimensional adsorption layers which may include solute solvent molecules. When differs different crystal faces, relative rates faces change, sometimes resulting habit modifications. models parameters relevant changes reviewed noted.
