摘要: The use of models to target conservation efforts, or "precision conservation," has become a research interest due its ability evaluate different practices in multiple areas and determine where expenditures will provide the best return. To if automation data collection process is possible, intersection USDA common land unit maps, which define boundaries agricultural lands, with vegetative cover represented by cropland layer, was analyzed for accuracy on approximately 80 central Iowa fields over two years. The resulting dataset successfully determined mean field centroid within 3 pixels, area an r 2 0.99, crop 95% accuracy, when compiled period years, rotations. The value map can also be extended other technologies average properties such as residue cover, tillage, yield, biomass production. serve input numerous precision enable create maps level processes properties, fertilization, defining management uniformly occurs.
