摘要: A very specific, selective, simple and inexpensive procedure was developed for the speciation of CrVI CrIII. This method is based on quantitative extraction chromate CrIII (previously oxidized to CrVI) as a tetrabutylammonium-chromate ion-pair in methyl isobutyl ketone (MIBK), then back preconcentration with an acidic diphenylcarbazide (DPC) solution. Back applied achieve further by final factor 20. The CrVI-DPC complex determined back-extract spectrophotometer at 548 nm. Under these conditions, most probable concomitant cations anions remained first inorganic phase. calibration curve linear up 0.14 μg L-1 detection limit 2.22 ng L-1. found be suitable determination species various natural water samples relative standard deviation better than 1.6%. successfully chromium spiked samples, also effluent from leather treatment plant.
