摘要: 1. To investigate the effects of starvation, elective surgery, accidental injury and other clinical conditions on metabolism branched-chain amino acids in man, we have measured basal concentration leucine removal metabolic infused l-leucine. 2. The blood was significantly increased by starvation injury, decreased cirrhosis. It tended to increase diabetes unaffected muscular dystrophy. 3. half-life nearly doubled 4 days complete unaltered surgery severe injury. Infusion with Intralipid, which free fatty acid ketone-body concentrations, had no effect a load. clearance rate reduced dystrophy 4. glucose ketone bodies differed according groups studied. 5. Since traumatized patients were given sufficient energy nitrogen disposed load at different from starved patients, causes these two are different.
