摘要: Two- and three-dimensional computer models of the dynamics magnetosphere in particular magnetotail have shown, that basic features idealized linear or steady state reconnection theory are still found time dependent spatially more complicated configurations such as magnetotail, which basically resembles a plane sheet pinch but addition has small magnetic field components perpendicular to sheet, line flaring variations along both directions parallel current sheet. These formation neutral x-line separator, where two surfaces separating fluxes different topology intersect, with generation an electric separator production strong plasma flows away from opposite directions. In addition, produced many large scale directly observed deduced observation relation magnetospheric substorms. Among those are: thinning plasmoid, region closed loops detached Earth, moves tailward at speed several hundreds km/sec, field-aligned currents. viewmore » recent discovery plasmoid signatures distant about 200 R/sub E/ ISEE-3 satellite measurements, we discuss properties simulations, its topology, spatial extent speed, system associated it local appearance fixed location space. Furthermore, conversion energy flux around deviations occurrence currents their by shear flows. 10 references, 21 figures, 2 tables.« less
