摘要: The adsorption of 4-mercaptobenzonitrile (MBN) on a polycrystalline gold electrode has been studied in spectroelectrochemical approach; results are compared with those similar study the benzonitrile and bencylcyanide. Results imply MBN via sulfur atom; case latter, compounds nitrogen atom cyano-group is found. In MBN, electron-withdrawing causes substantial weakening MBN–gold interaction.
