摘要: Sodium chlorate (NaClO3) crystals are optically active although the molecules of compound not chiral. When crystallized from an aqueous solution while is stirred, statistically equal numbers levo (L) and dextro (D) NaClO3 were found. was however, almost all (99.7 percent) in a particular sample had same chirality, either or dextro. This result represents experimental demonstration chiral symmetry breaking total spontaneous resolution on macroscopic level brought about by autocatalysis competition between L- D-crystals.
