摘要: Abstract The aim of this work is to study the initiation and propagation fatigue cracks during fretting tests in partial slip conditions, compare behaviour conventional C(T) crack growth experiments. An experimental device specially developed order perform situ at a synchrotron facility. 2D radiographs are directly observed for first time cylinder/plane contact configuration. FE computations carried out calculate stress intensity factor range Δ K tip complex loading configuration, revealing short long behaviours.
