摘要: Summary Objectives QuantiFERON value to diagnose tuberculosis (TB) in young children remains be clarified. To this aim QF-TB-IT performance was evaluated a large series of immunocompetent that were stratified according age and clinical conditions. Methods reactivity analyzed 226 (0–15 years old): 31 uninfected despite TB contact; 51 presented disease; 39 had Latent (LTBI) 105 disease suspected but an alternative diagnosis (TB excluded). Results specificity 100% excluded. In disease, low sensitivity infants (40%) increased with aging (77% 1– 5 old. Finally, the incidence indeterminate results high (24%) Conclusions our burden country, i) 100%, ii) commensurable adult values older children, iii) mostly relied on ongoing infections unrelated TB.
