摘要: Objective To determine if a ThinPrep processor (Cytyc Corporation, Boxborough, Massachusetts, U.S.A.) could be used to improve diagnostic accuracy in the absence of cytopathologist at time computed tomography-guided (CT-guided) transthoracic needle aspiration biopsy (TNAB) lung. Study Design Ninety-two patients (59 men and 33 women who were 26-85 years old) underwent CT-guided TNAB. The aspirated specimen was prepared with cytopreparatory technique for cytologic evaluation. final histologic diagnoses based on pathologic material obtained from cutting biopsy, bronchoscopic surgical excision clinical follow-up (mean, 12 months). On this basis, accuracy, sensitivity specificity TNAB malignant lesions calculated by comparing percutaneous using Χ 2 test. Results Of intrapulmonary masses which diagnosis made, 56 (60.9%) 36 (39.1%) benign. sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value negative malignancy 92%, 87.5%, 100%, 100% 80%, respectively. Conclusion provided excellent useful because shows less air-drying artifact can separate cells blood clots slides.
