摘要: In this era of precision medicine, our understanding and knowledge the molecular landscape associated with lung cancer pathogenesis continues to evolve. This information is being increasingly exploited treat advanced stage patients tailored, targeted therapy. During management these patients, minimally invasive procedures obtain samples for tissue diagnoses are desirable. Cytologic fine-needle aspirates often utilized purpose important not only rendering subtype patients’ cancers, but also ascertaining diagnostic treatment purposes. Thus, cytologic must be triaged judiciously achieve both objectives. review, strategies in utilizing will discussed context current clinically actionable aberrations underlying non-small cell assays applied order treatment-relevant information.
