摘要: Since its introduction in 1930 by physiologist Walter Bradford Cannon, the concept of homeostasis remains cardinal tenet biologic regulation. Cells have evolved a highly integrated network control mechanisms, including positive and negative feedback loops, to safeguard face wide range stimuli. Such mechanisms ultimately orchestrate cell death, division repair manner concordant with cellular energy ionic balance achieve proper fitness. The interdependence these homeostatic pathways is also evidenced shared points that decode intra- extracellular cues into defined effector responses.
