摘要: Regulation of translation during heat shock Drosophila and mammalian cells is reviewed. Protein synthesis severely inhibited by elevated temperatures but proteins (HSPs) resistant to this inhibition. The primary site regulation polypeptide chain initiation. activities two initiation factors, eIF-2 eIF-4F, are modulated shock. A protein kinase which modulates activity appears be associated with (HSPs). Evidence emerging that HSP70 acts as a sensor detecting the presence accumulating denatured proteins. In rabbit reticulocyte lysate bind releasing an shut down synthesis. It highly likely similar mechanism acting in shocked cells. Cell-free synthesizing systems prepared from deficient eIF-4F. Modulation eIF-4F can explain part apparent preferential HSP mRNAs.
