摘要: Previous conclusions regarding the role of social support in hemodialysis adherence are inconsistent, suggesting that other factors may moderate this relationship. Using Five-Factor Model Personality, we examined hypothesis conscientiousness would interact with predicting fluid-intake and medication a sample 56 chronic patients. Hierarchical regression analyses (controlling for demographic, clinical, personality variables) revealed significant interaction between conscientiousness. However, inconsistent prediction, high among patients low was associated poorer adherence, while had little effect on No main or interactive effects were found measure adherence.
