摘要: The aim of the present study was to evaluate suitability an experimental latex as a controlled release coating dispersion by preparing, optimizing and characterizing pellets ibuprofen. A laboratory size fluidized bed machine (Uniglatt M-2817) used coat ibuprofen loaded beads with 400 mg in 12 h period pH 7.2 phosphate buffer. Independent variables such solids content, volume dispersion, plasticizer concentration were optimized using three-factor, three-level Box-Behnken design. response studied cumulative percentage dissolved constraints on 1, 6 h. Surface plots utilized relate dependent independent variables. optimization procedure generated maximum 86% when levels 11.06% w/w, 113.7 ml, 26.59% w/w respectively. prepared based predicted yielded values which close values. kinetics shown follow Baker-Lonsdale model. formulations characterized DSC, SEM X-ray diffraction studies.
