摘要: Mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) showing a follicular structure can develop in the gastric mucosa as response to Helicobacter pylori infection. We emphasize importance of anti-H. antibiotic therapy elimination acquired MALT. Of 200 patients studied, MALT was found 70 151 H. pylori-positive patients, whereas it present only five 49 pylori-negative patients. Thirty-eight and MALT-positive were treated with reevaluated after 6 months: 21 negative/MALT negative, 12 positive/MALT positive, four one negative. In control group (n = 20), still at follow-up. One patient histological immunohistochemical evidence low-grade B-cell lymphoma underwent treatment reexamined 8, 12, 24 weeks: examination biopsy samples showed regression tandem disappearance colonization. Our data confirm correlation between infection MALT, documented by ability induce lymphoma. Considering potential evolution into lymphoma, eradication should play role prevention this tumor.
