摘要: Objective To explore the role that implanted mesenchymal stem cells may play in tissue repair or regeneration of injured joint, by delivery an autologous preparation to caprine knee joints following induction osteoarthritis (OA). Methods Adult were isolated from bone marrow, expanded culture, and transduced express green fluorescent protein. OA was induced unilaterally joint donor animals complete excision medial meniscus resection anterior cruciate ligament. After 6 weeks, a single dose 10 million suspended dilute solution sodium hyaluronan delivered direct intraarticular injection. Control received alone. Results In cell-treated joints, there evidence marked meniscus, detected newly formed tissue. Degeneration articular cartilage, osteophytic remodeling, subchondral sclerosis reduced compared with treated vehicle alone without cells. There no ligament any joints. Conclusion Local adult stimulates meniscal retards progressive destruction normally seen this model OA.
