摘要: The analysis of fast chlorophyll fluorescence induction kinetics in dark-adapted leaves (JIP-test) is proposed as a rapid method for evaluating freezing tolerance wheat. Wheat were detached from the plants 40 cultivars grown an open-field Smolice, during December and March winters 2004/2005 2005/2006, transferred to laboratory Krakow frozen −15°C. Next, measurements taken. correlation coefficients between JIP-test parameters with data obtained multiple field-laboratory studies, varied 0.58 0.70 depending on sampling time parameter measured. parameter, which can always be used screening described here, performance index (PI), characterizes overall energy flow efficiency photosystem II (PSII). results indicate, that technique here useful plant breeding programmes. However, this seems more reliable tool selection tolerant germplasm, than discarding susceptible materials.
