Magnetic study of single domain ɛ-Fe3N nanoparticles synthesized by precursor technique

摘要: Abstract Nanostructured single domain ɛ-Fe3N particles have been prepared by chemical route. Magnetic dipolar interaction among has observed. The FC and ZFC magnetization curves show the superparamagnetic blocking temperature around 125 K, at low applied field of 0.005 T. At higher field, these merge because increase in energy that overcomes magnetic anisotropy energies. Mossbauer spectroscopy further corroborates nature 300 K.
