摘要: Incoloy alloy 800 HT is widely used material of construction for equipment that must resist corrosion. Moreover, the corrosion properties reduce considerably when heat treated. However, short pulse laser treatment may offer alternative technique to improve alloy. In present study, nano-second heating carried out using a Nd-YAG laser. The rate and temperature rise during are predicted theoretically. Electrochemical techniques applied determine rates treated untreated samples. SEM EDS introduced metallographic examination surface. It found fine dentritic structures occur at surface after treatment. local pitting observed melted re-solidified regions while scattering pits resulted heated unmelted regions. addition, reduces laser-treated
