摘要: The parameter X of the Muskingum method is a physical that reflects flood peak attenuation and hydrograph shape flattening diffusion wave in motion. In this paper, historic process hydrologists have undergone to find explanation briefly discussed. Based on fact second-order accuracy difference solution equation, its numerical stability condition analyzed, conclusion drawn: ≤ 0.5 uniform satisfying demands for meaning stability. It also pointed out methods regard sum squares differences between calculated observed discharges or stages as objective function routing coefficients C0, C1 C2 optimization parameters cannot guarantee X.
